Hi, and thanks for visiting Vera's at Marnoo!

Marnoo is a tiny town in the Wimmera in regional Victoria. Vera started out small, as 'Vera the vending machine' on the verandah of 28 Newall Street, Marnoo.

Then in January we opened the shop behind Vera:  Kitchen Garden Mercantile, a homewares shop selling 'beatiful things for home cooks and gardeners'.

But what we heard from visitors and locals alike was that they would love somewhere local to get a snack or a tasty lunch. So in April 2026 we started offering food in the shop as well.  

We offer pies, sausage rolls, toasties, and salad sandwiches and rolls, with a range of sweet treats. 

We're a tiny shop in a tiny town, so we encourage people to order online the day before, to guarantee availability. And that's why we have this website.
